GrubbWorm 2,000 hp rated LT1 - Short Block

We have proven experience making big power with the Gen-II LT1 engine. Our 2,000hp LT1 Short-Block package is built to handle whatever you can throw at it.  To take a production block to this extreme power level, full filler is required.  If you need an engine that accepts a cooling system, we can put a package together using an aftermarket gen 1 SBC block or the new 1 Spec block in true gen 2 LT configuration.

This is a Turbo specific build, and uses a 3.250" stroke crankshaft, producing 329 to 331 cubic inches (4.010" to 4.030" bore).  Longer strokes for more cubic inches are not an option to reliably achieve 2000+ hp in a production block with 350 mains.

The block is CNC machined and Diamond Stone honed for the highest level of quality and consistency.  Receiver grooves for top fuel hoops are machined into the deck surfaces, and the necessary machine work to fit billet, 4 bolt splayed main caps is performed.
