Make serious power, without serious headache. This small-block LT1 short block package offers a great way to make reliable power for your street/strip LT1-powered vehicles. This package is rated to handle 1,200 hp and requires your core LT1 block.
We’ve had great success with the Gen-II LT1 while campaigning, building, and driving the GrubbWorm Camaro. We built our 2000 hp rated, destroked LT1 with a Precision Turbo and methanol and ran as fast as a 6.96 E/T in the quarter mile, which still holds the record for the quickest/fastest LT1. But before the install of that engine, the Grubbworm terrorized the streets with a short block indentical to the stage one you're reading about here. Ultimately, we ran 8.0 at 180 mph with our stage 1 short block.
